We received an email from Jerry Castle the other day. He in turn had just received a sad call from Elaine Harewood to say that John Harewood, known as Jake to countless pupils, had just died, having recently been moved into a local hospice. His funeral is Thursday 14th September 2014 at 12:00 in St Peter's Church, Budleigh Salterton, EX9 6LR. He and his wife Angie will be attending and David Gill will be representing the Association.

Welcome to the website of the Old Huish Association. We aim to include a lot about what the OHA is doing and what the College is doing.

We also want this to be a repository for memories and photos. We have several already loaded up. As a starter, here's the School's production of "Captain Noah and his floating zoo" from c. 1974. Your Web Manager is the angelic face right in the middle, gauchely advertising the song book .....

Time has definitely dulled the senses, but try this as a cast list of the boys:

BACK ROW, L > R
Robert Bourne, Martin Herrington, ???, Giles Alun-Jones, Martin Dongworth, Pete Arthur, Chris Bowler, Nick Eggington

MIDDLE, L > R
Pascal Tickner, Charlie Barker, Brian Dalton, Andrew Wise, Andy Dyer

FRONT, L > R
Dominic Tickner, Michael Anderson, David Arthur

As for the grown-ups: on the left, sorry, cannot recall any names. On the right, Quentin Blackley at the back; Ronald Tickner (Music Master at the School and Choir Master at St Mary's Church, Taunton. Most of the school choir were in the church choir as well!) and Linda Cole.

All and any amendments gratefully received. Click here to email the Web Manager.

We hope you enjoy your visit to this site
